Our story
Bossa Koffi Essome, founder of Midezon-Togo, with the children of Sanguera

Bossa Koffi Essome · Sociologist, founder — Sanguera, Togo

Midezon —"On the road to development"in the Ewé language

It all started in Adidogomé, Lomé, in 2015 — then Wonyomé, then Sanguera — with a simple conviction: international solidarity only makes sense when built with local communities, never in their place.

Bossa Koffi Essome, trained as a sociologist, grew up in Togo, in Lomé. By returning regularly to his birth village, he saw the difference between NGOs that "bring" and those that "build with". Midezon was born from that realization — and eleven years later, continues to embody it in the field.

"True exchange isn't top-down — it's built together."

Alice
