Socio-educational and cultural activities with children
A mission to support the development and personal growth of children in Midezon-Togo's partner orphanages.
The context
Togo has many orphanages that take in children who have been abandoned, neglected, or can no longer live with their families because of extreme poverty, abuse or life on the streets.
The local teams are often understaffed and short of resources. They do not always have time to give each child the individual care, emotional support and stimulating activities that are essential to their development.
This is where volunteers make the difference: a warm, patient and enthusiastic presence that transforms the daily lives of dozens of children.
Our objectives
Emotional support
Offering a caring presence to children who are often left to fend for themselves.
Literacy
Strengthening reading, writing and everyday learning.
Cultural exchange
Sharing cultures, languages and a wider view of the world.
Personal growth
Nurturing artistic, sporting and creative talents.
Hygiene
Teaching essential hygiene and health habits.
Rights and duties
Raising children's awareness of their rights and responsibilities.
